We are based in the heart of Mint Cake land and are stockists of all the best Mint Cakes offered by Quiggins, Romneys and Wilsons. Mint Cake is a sugar based product containing glucose syrup and peppermint oil mixed together until it sets into a solid bar. The Quiggins Mint Cake was chosen on the famous 1975 Everest Expedition led by Sir Chris Bonnington, providing a much needed energy boost on their ascent to the summit.
There are typically 3 different types of Mint Cake, White, Brown and Chocolate coated. The tastes vary with the sugar granules with the white bars being slightly sweeter and these bars are the ones that are coated in dark chocolate.
