Delivery Information

We endeavour to dispatch all orders received before 12 noon the same working day. If the goods are not in stock, we will contact you by phone or email to advise delivery time or offer an alternative product.

We use Royal Mail for all our parcel services with a collection from our premises at 15:45. In order to prepare your order we require all orders placed before 12:00 to ensure it meets our collection time. We will always try to get orders received before 14:00 out the same day but it is not guaranteed.

Our working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

To ensure prompt delivery, please make sure you enter the correct address and postcode when placing your order. Helen's Chocolates cannot be held responsible for late or failed delivery if the address or postcode are entered incorrectly. 

Delivery Methods

The following delivery methods are available on this website.

Standard Delivery (3-5 Working Days)

All our parcels are sent by Royal Mail and have a good chance of being delivered within two days. The average delivery times is usually three to five working days. This is NOT a guaranteed  delivery time. Maximum weight 2kgs

For heavier parcels, we recommend sending by Express service.

Express Delivery (1-2 Working Days)

For a faster service, please use our Express Service, Royal Mail Tracked 24. This usually arrives next working day but it is not a guaranteed service. It benefits from you receiving an email with your parcel's tracking information.

It has a single price level irrespective of weight. Maximum weight 20kgs.

Signed For Delivery (Next Working Day before 1pm)

When you need a super fast service delivered just after midday, this is the best service. Please note, you cannot request the parcel is left in the porch or other location. It will require the recipient to be in and sign for the goods.

This service is weight based to a maximum 2 kgs.

Please note, we only dispatch orders Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on a Friday after 12 noon for next working day delivery will NOT be dispatched until the following Monday.

Next working day delivery is NOT available for delivery in the Scottish Highlands or any off-shore postcodes in the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight.

Overseas Delivery (Non-UK)

We also ship to a number of non-UK destinations, including:

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guernsey, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Vatican City State.

Free Delivery

We may occasionally offer free delivery when you spend over a certain amount in a single transaction or attached to specific promotions.

This will usually not apply in conjunction with any other special deals or promotions.

The method of delivery will be decided upon by Helen's Chocolates and we reserve the right to withdraw the offer at any time.

Local Collection

Should  you wish to order online for someone living locally, you can select "Pick up from Store" and no delivery charge will apply.

Weather

Due to the delicate nature of chocolate products, we reserve the right to delay shipping during periods of hot weather where average temperatures exceed 20° Celsius. In this instance, we will notify you by email. If the delay is unacceptable, a full refund will be made.

We rely on a third party for all our deliveries and therefore are unable to guarantee delivery dates. Occasionally, during busy periods there can be delays which are beyond our control but we will inform customers of any issues that we are aware of.

Returns

Every effort is made to ensure our products arrive in perfect condition. If however an item is damaged or faulty on arrival, please contact us immediately on receipt of the goods. Provided the product is returned to us within 30 days and is unopened and in its original packaging, we will either re-send the product or refund the purchase price.

If you are not entirely satisfied with a product for some reason other than it being damaged or faulty please contact us immediately stating your reason for the dissatisfaction. If there is a problem with the product we will refund the purchase price of the product, or send a replacement. If however we deem the product to be in perfect condition, we reserve the right to charge the full amount for the goods.
